Construction truck accident
On February 13, 2007 a husband and wife were returning home after eating at a local restaurant. As they were driving, an employee of a local packing company who was driving a company truck suddenly and without warning turned left in front of them, causing a serious impact to occur. The wife was seriously injured. She had numerous broken ribs, fractures in both of her bones in the right leg, an open fracture of the right ankle, fractures of both bones in the right arm and a fracture of the right thumb. These injuries resulted in multiple surgical procedures. On March 12, 2008, the case settled for the amount of $825,000.
