Carol A. Bowman, admitted to bar, California 1976; Arizona 1998; U.S. District Court, Southern and Central California and Arizona; U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, U.S. Supreme Court.

 

Education: University of Utah (J.D., 1976); Arizona State University (B.S., 1972). Member of Yuma County Bar Association.

 

Practice Areas: Government/Public Law;  Energy Law; Public Utility Law; Indian Law; Personal Injury Law. Twenty years of experience in energy, corporate and business law with Southern California Edison, including six years as Assistant General Counsel.

 

Carol Bowman, after 23 years in the corporate legal offices in one of the largest public utility companies in the world, decided to return to Yuma and practice in a private law firm.  Carol has extensive experience dealing with corporate boards and committees, interfacing with local governments and representing clients before state and federal regulatory agencies.  She currently works with government/public entity clients such as the Cocopah Tribe.  Carol also presently assists in litigation with her research and writing skills, and with discovery and depositions and management of all workers’ compensation clients.

 

Carol has extensive trial experience and has handled all types of Injury Claims. She currently emphazises her practice in serious injury claims. She has 34 years of experience while practicing in Arizona and California.
